(KEWAUNEE, WI) — The Kewaunee Police Department identifies an Appleton man killed Monday in a boating accident.
Police say 81-year-old Jimmie Brooks was piloting the 18-foot aluminum boat when it struck the north pier–throwing Brooks into the water. His body was later recovered by the U.S. Coast Guard.
A 68-year-old passenger, who’s identified as Randy Sieg of Appleton, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released.
The accident remains under investigation.
