MENASHA, Wis. — Students in the Menasha Joint School District will have an opportunity to access free school supplies and other essential items before the school year begins.
School supplies will be available at the district’s upcoming Open Houses, along with clothing, hygiene products, bedding and towels.
“The strength and generosity of the Menasha community continue to inspire us,” Superintendent Dan Slowey said. “We want every student to begin the school year feeling prepared, supported, and excited to learn. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has donated supplies and resources to help our families during the recovery.”
Open House schedule
- Maplewood Intermediate School: Aug. 24, 4–7:30 p.m.
- Maplewood Middle School: Aug. 25, 4–7:30 p.m.
- Banta Elementary School: Aug. 27, 4–6 p.m.
- Butte des Morts Elementary School: Aug. 27, 4–6 p.m.
- Clovis Elementary School: Aug. 27, 4–6 p.m.
- Fox Valley Virtual School material pickup: Aug. 25, 1–6 p.m., and Aug. 26, 8:15 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Families who aren’t able to attend the Menasha High School Open House and still need school supplies or donated household items are welcome to attend the Maplewood Middle School Open House.
District staff will be available to help connect families with the items they need.
The events are open to district families, and all available supplies and donated items will be provided free of charge.
