GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs reaches a plea deal with prosecutors on charges related to an altercation with his girlfriend.
Jacobs is convicted in Brown County Court on one misdemeanor count of battery and is fined $1,000. A misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property will be dismissed if Jacobs stays out of further legal trouble for a year.
Jacobs shoved his girlfriend and threw her cellphone during a disturbance in a Hobart home back in May. He has been placed on the Commissioner’s exempt list and is not allowed to play or practice with the team.
