WAUSAU, Wis. — Congressman Tom Tiffany says he’s lucky to be alive after the plane he was in made a water landing in Wausau Saturday night.
He credits his pilot, Len Boltz, with working to fix the situation up to the very end……..
The Republican candidate for governor and Boltz were able to crawl out of the plane and then swim to a shallow portion of the lake where they were rescued. Both men escaped with minor injuries.
Tiffany says he is fortunate to be alive……….
Tiffany adds that the incident won’t stop his campaign duties.
