OSHKOSH, Wis. — The Winnebago County Medical Examiner rules the deaths of a Winneconne man and his two daughters a double murder-suicide.
Jeffrey Manke shot his daughters, 16-year-old Jaelyn and 11-year-old Lenora, before turning the gun on himself in his Division Street home on July 31.
Manke’s divorce from the girls’ mother had become final that day.
His blood alcohol level at the time of the incident was 0.133, higher than the legal limit to drive.
