MENASHA, Wis. — Menasha police say a suspect in an alleged hit-and-run crash is now in custody.
Kathleen Clapper is accused of hitting a pedestrian in the parking lot of Lake Park Swim & Fitness on Aug. 24 — leaving the victim with multiple broken bones and cuts — before fleeing the scene.
Clapper’s vehicle was detected by a license plate reader camera in Farmington, Missouri, on Oct. 1, and she was arrested.
She is awaiting extradition back to Wisconsin to face felony charges.
