A new veterans memorial will be dedicated tomorrow in New London.
James Jaeger helped raised money for the Veterans Memorial Wall in Taft Park. He says it cost $250,000.
The memorial is made up of black granite walls, and there’s room for over 1100 names. Right now, there are nearly 700 on it, and another 100 still have to be placed.
He says it costs $150 to put a name on the memorial, and that’s part of the way they’re raising money.
The dedication ceremony will start at 10 a.m. at Taft Park, in the downtown.
