One of the potential Republican candidates for U.S. Senate won’t be getting in the race.
Rep. Dale Kooyenga of Brookfield made that announcement today. He says his decision came after “considerable thought and prayer.”
Former Marine Kevin Nicholson is already running, in hopes of challenging Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin of Madison. State Sen. Leah Vukmir of Brookfield is expected to declare her candidacy soon. Madison businessman Eric Hovde might also run.
