There’s a new blood drive challenge in the Fox Cities over the Fourth of July holiday.
Community Blood Center spokesman Tyler Sjostrom says they picked some supporters of the blood center to encourage people to donate. He says some of the supporters include Josh Dukelow from WHBY’s Fresh Take, Green Bay Oncology, and the Kauakuna Area School District.
The challenge runs through Sunday.
Sjostrom says every blood donor this week will get a $5 gift card to a local store.
He hopes to collects 300 units of blood. He says they typically get about 1,000 units in a week.
