The vast majority of We Energies customers have power again and the same should be the case for Wisconsin Public Service customers later today.
Spokeswoman Alison Trouy says for WPS, they hope to have power restored for 95% of customers by the end of the day.
We Energies had a goal of meeting that figure by sometime last night.
Trouy says they might not be able to fix outages if homeowners need to deal with damage to their house or property first. She stresses crews will continue to work around the clock until everyone’s power is back on.
