Wrightstown was one of the communities hardest hit by Saturday’s storms.
Village Administrator Travis Coenen says initially, the entire village lost power for at least six to eight hours. He estimates about 30 families still don’t have electricity. He’s confident Wisconsin Public Service crews will have their power back on, by the end of today.
Coenen says there’s a lot of tree damage, and they got lucky when it comes to property damage. He says trees poked holes in some roofs, and some cars were hit by falling trees or branches.
He says village crews are cleaning up tree damage. He thinks they’ll be working on that for a few weeks.
