Governor Evers checked out storm damage in Appleton Tuesday afternoon.
He walked around a north side neighborhood to talk with people and see what city crews are doing.
Mayor Tim Hanna joined the governor along with other state and local officials. He says they’re lucky because there have not been many reports of property damage. He says the city did lose a lot of trees.
Hanna says city crews are working hard to clean up bigger trees from alongside streets. They’ll do a city-wide pickup of brush starting next Monday.
