The EAA’s annual “WomenVenture” is highlighting the contributions women are making to aviation.
Capt. Tammie Jo Shultz was one of yesterday’s speakers. She saved nearly 150 lives by landing a heavily damaged passenger plane in April of last year. The former Navy pilot says overcoming obstacles in both her life and career helped her get to where she is today. She says dreams are just the start, and then it’s years of hard work to get to success.
Shultz hopes her story inspires the next generation of women in the industry.
