A Little Chute official say the village could get another hotel.
Administrator James Fenlon says a study shows the village could support a 50-to 65-room hotel. He says they hired a consultant, and he was shocked to see how many Little Chute businesses bring workers to the area. He believes the Community First Champion Center will also be a big draw.
A hotel firm reached out to village leaders a year ago, asking if they ever thought about doing a hotel study. Fenlon hopes a developer comes forward in the next year, and they can work together to find a good location.
There’s a Country Inn and Suites on the south side of I-41, off the Highway N exit. Fenlon says the new hotel could end up on the north side of I-41.
Fenlon was a guest on Fresh Take with Josh Dukelow on WHBY this morning.
