Sheriff’s deputies say a 26-year-old Black Creek man threatened them, and his father, while he had a gun.
He was eventually arrested, following an eight-hour standoff yesterday.
Outagamie County Sheriff’s Lt. Ryan Carpenter says they went to the house in the 300 block of Main Street for a fight between the father and son. He says they were wrestling over a gun, and the son put it in his waistband.
He says the 26-year-old went outside when deputies got there, and threatened them. He then went back inside, and the father was able to get out of the house.
The SWAT team went into the home around midnight and took the man into custody.
Carpenter believes the 26-year-old was drunk, and that contributed to the situation.
