Three counties were the hardest hit by the tornadoes and straight-line winds that passed through the state just over a week ago.
Joy Staab of Wisconsin Emergency Management says they’re Polk and Barron counties in the northwest and Langlade County in northcentral Wisconsin. She says she’s not sure how long it will take to clean up, but they’ll stay out as long as it takes.
The cleanup continues in northeast Wisconsin as well. A special curbside brush pickup starts today in Appleton.
