A preliminary hearing is on hold for the Missouri man charged in connection with the disappearance of two brothers from the Seymour area.
A judge was expected to decide today whether 25-year-old Garland “Joey” Nelson would stand trial on a charge that he drove the truck rented by Nick and Justin Diemel.
Nelson asked for a delay, and the hearing is being moved to September 16th.
The Diemels went missing last month while they were visiting Nelson’s farm in Braymer, Missouri. They’re presumed dead, and investigators say they found human remains at the farm.
