The state Supreme Court is suspending the municipal judge in Fox Crossing after he was arrested earlier this week.
Len Kachinsky was booked into the Winnebago County jail on possible charges of stalking and violating a restraining order. He was released on Tuesday, and the Winnebago County district attorney will decide whether to file formal charges.
Kachinsky was also a former attorney for Brendan Dassey, and he was featured on the Netflix series “Making a Murderer.”
Justices say they’ve been informed that Kachinsky can’t “properly discharge his official duties.” His court clerk has accused him of harassing her, and retaliating against her.
The Wisconsin Judicial Commission filed a complaint with the Supreme Court.
