We sit down with Harriet Redman from Wisconsibs to talk about the upcoming Celebrate Sisterhood event. It’s October 30 from 11:30 am – 1:30 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley.
Wisconsibs offers support for siblings of children with disabilities, with their vision being to help siblings thrive throughout their lives, from childhood to adulthood. Celebrate Sisterhood helps raise funds to support the programs Wisconsibs provides.
Nate Baldwin with Appleton Park and Rec also joins us to talk on the latest happenings in youth sports. Nate also brings up the topic of children and tackle football, and recent findings that speak to the long term physical toll that concussive and sub-concussive hits have on our young people, and why it is of particular concern to children under the age of 14.
