We first check in with Faye Klessig to give us details on the 2019 season for the Friends of the Endries Performing Arts center in Brillion, WI. Their first show is this Friday, February 8th with a Tribute to Michael Buble music performed by the Shades of Buble from New York.
For the third time, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center welcomes The Lion King to Appleton!
The three-week engagement runs Thursday, February 7 until Sunday, February 24 and is a show that appeals to audiences of all ages. We were lucky to have the opportunity to speak with one of the cast members – Tony Freeman, who plays understudy to Zazu, Timon, Pumbaa and Scar.
Tony shares about his 18-year experience in the Lion King cast and tells us what his favorite parts of the show are.
He’ll also be part of the local Center Stage workshop next week on puppetry. The workshop features students from local high schools, getting the opportunity to engage deeper in the arts.
