The president of a local school is getting a lifetime achievement award for helping students succeed.
Jeff Rafn has led Northeast Wisconsin Technical College for over 20 years. He believes it’s important to make sure no student or staff member is left behind. He thinks the teachers should ask what more they could have done for a student once they leave the school.
Rafn says the struggles of students over the years inspired him to start services like the school’s food pantry and clothes closet.
Vistage Worldwide is giving Rafn a lifetime achievement award. Rafn says the recognition is great but he still has more work to do.
