A trainer in Green Bay is getting an award at tomorrow’s Bellin Women’s Half Marathon.
Chrisann Walsh had to overcome a lot of hurdles in the past several months. Her parents and her dog all died, and her husband was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer.
But Walsh stayed positive. On the day of her husband’s first chemotherapy treatment, she posted “C the good” on Facebook with the “C” for cancer.
A friend made “See the Good” bracelets. Soon, people all over the world started sharing pictures while wearing the bracelets.
Walsh thinks it’s a symbol of waking up each day, and seeing what’s good about your life.
She’s receiving the Fearless Female Award.
