During January’s Focus on Veterans, we’re joined by Amy Pietsch with the Fox Valley Technical College Venture Center, to talk about their Explore Innovation Accelerator for Veterans sessions. The Innovation Accelerator Program for Veterans was made possible by a generous grant from the Wisconsin Department of Veteran’s Affairs in partnership with the Fox Valley Technical College Venture Center and Veterans Resource Center. It gives veteran entrepreneurs an opportunity to learn how to start or grow their businesses.
Oshkosh Restaurant Week runs through February 2 and features dozens of restaurants with special menus for breakfast lunch or dinner! Oshkosh Eat Week continues to support the arts and will donate $1 from each meal to a future community art program. Justin DeJager with the Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau explains that it could fund anything from a future mural to a sculpture or exhibit.
