Leaders of churches from around northeast Wisconsin are focusing on safety this week.
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is hosting a conference.
Safety Training Coordinator Jason Weber says it’s not only about beefing up security. He believes they should learn how to defuse potentially violent situations, to prevent horrible things from happening.
Another focus this year is preparing for a medical emergency or severe weather.
The conference wraps up this afternoon.
