Mental health providers are doing everything they can to stay in contact with their clients, while social distancing rules are in place.
Agnesian Behavioral Health Director Matthew Doll says they’re meeting with people over the phone or through video. He says there’s a lot of evidence that offering counseling that way can be successful, if done right. But he says some people don’t have strong Internet speeds to hold video meetings, and others might not have a cell phone.
Patients that have to come in are being screened for coronavirus.
