The housing market in the state bounced back last month.
Economist David Clark of the Wisconsin Realtors Association says sales were down 4.5 percent, compared to June of last year. He says that exceeded their expectations, even though June of 2019 was slower than normal.
Sales were down 26 percent in May, compared to the same month last year.
June’s statewide median price was up 3.6 percent, to $222,000.
In the northeast region, sales slipped almost six percent. The median price climbed seven percent to nearly $182,000.
