We are focused on healthy hearts as February marks Heart Month with the American Heart Association. We first hear from heart survivor Molly Schroeder. Six weeks after losing her mom to heart disease, the then 21 year old soccer player had a heart attack, caused by a previously undiagnosed congenital condition. We’re talking with Molly today about her heart journey.
We’re also joined by someone who cares for the mightiest of hearts. Dr. Dan Beacher is a pediatric cardiologist with Children’s Wisconsin at the Herma Heart Institute. Dr. Beacher shares more about why he loves to work with kids and gives helpful tips on heart health for families.
