Small business owners in the Fox Cities and Green Bay are getting some help bouncing back from the pandemic. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is offering $420-million to 84-thousand businesses state-wide. WEDC Secretary and CEO Missy Hughes says the Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grant Program allows qualifying businesses to use their grants for just about any expenses.
“Eligible businesses will be receiving a grant of $5,000,” Hughes says. “Which can be used for any purpose. Such as paying back rent or renovating spaces or hiring staff. The intention is to get our small businesses moving again.”
Applications information is available at the Department of Revenue website at revenue.wi.gov.
