An Appleton teenager found guilty of killing his grandparents may undergo another round of mental competency testing. The attorney for Alexander Kraus says his client has shown “remarkable decline” in his mental state and it not able to assist in his defense. Kraus was convicted by a jury on two counts of First Degree Intentional Homicide in the shooting deaths of Dennis and Letha Kraus in their Grand Chute home back in April of 2019. He faces life in prison when sentenced on August 16th.
