GREEN BAY, Wis–A Green Bay woman is facing criminal charges after her children reportedly test positive for cocaine. Mercedes Rickert is facing three counts of Child Neglect in Brown County Court.
According to the criminal complaint, Rickert brought a 15-month old child to the hospital because of abnormal behavior on May 10th. The toddler tested positive for cocaine ingestion. Rickert’s other two children, ages three and two, were tested three days later and also came back positive for cocaine use.
Rickert’s mother, who also lived in the home, refused to be tested and could also face neglect charges.
