CHILTON, Wis. — A former Green Bay teacher will spend eight years in prison for molesting his then-girlfriend’s son.
Gregory Sawyer is sentenced in Calumet County Court after pleading no contest to one count of Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
Sawyer was a teacher at Green Bay West High School when he was charged with the crime, which took place in Appleton in 1997.
The victim came forward to police last year.
