OSHKOSH, Wis–Winnebago County supervisors question the retention of an employee in Executive Jon Doemel’s office. Executive assistant Ethan Hollenberger was the subject of a co-worker complaint about demeaning comments and derogatory statements made in the office setting earlier this fall.
Supervisor Karen Powers of Oshkosh says Hollenberger is a national embarassment.
Doemel says that he has reprimanded Hollenberger in private.
This week, the Winnebago County Board rejected a budget amendment that would have eliminated funding for Hollenberger’s position.
