TOWN OF AMBERG, Wis. — One person is dead and another is in custody following a shooting in Marinette County.
Officers were called to a residence in the town of Amberg around 8:10 p.m. Monday on the report of a male who had been shot. They arrived to find the victim, identified as William Freed, deceased.
A female was taken into custody, and investigators believe is public is not in any danger.
The incident remains under investigation.
