GREEN BAY, Wis. — Thirty-five people are displaced following an apartment fire on Green Bay’s east side.
Crews were called to August Manor Apartments around 8 p.m. Tuesday to find smoke coming from the front of the building.
Firefighters were able to rescue numerous people from the second floor. One firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation and released. Another person was taken to the hospital with smoke exposure.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
