OMRO, Wis — One person is hurt and two others are in custody following a shooting incident in Omro.
Police say the suspects, Omah Brown of Milwaukee and Shakierra Ray of Green Bay, went to a 65-year-old man’s home in the 300 block of E. Main Street Monday night in response to an online ad for a car.
An altercation quickly ensued, and one of the suspects pulled out a gun, which went off during a struggle. The man was shot and taken to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah with non-life-threatening injuries.
Brown and Ray fled the scene before officers arrived. They were arrested following a police chase involving a U-Haul that ended in Fond du Lac.
Criminal charges are pending.
