OSHKOSH, Wis. — One person is killed in an Oshkosh house fire.
Crews were called to a home in the 1600 block of Burdick Street around 12:30 p.m. Sunday to find flames and thick smoke coming from the building.
After the fire was brought under control, a person was found inside the house. The person was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
