TOWN OF MAPLE CREEK, Wis. — Two people are seriously hurt in an Outagamie County crash.
The sheriff’s office says an SUV left County Trunk D in the town of Maple Creek and struck a tree around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The 49-year-old Bear Creek man driving the vehicle was airlifted to the hospital, where his condition is unknown. The 50-year-old Bear Creek woman riding with him was taken to the hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
Investigators believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
