APPLETON, Wis. — An Appleton woman is sentenced to life in prison for the stabbing death of a man.
Samantha Krebs will be eligible to apply for parole in 35 years on one count of first-degree intentional homicide.
Krebs was found guilty at trial of stabbing Joey Carnot to death in his apartment back in July of 2024.
She initially told police that Carnot had stabbed himself to death.
