GREEN BAY, Wis. — Fire destroys a Green Bay warehouse.
Crews were called to Green Bay Converting on Larsen Road around 7:45 a.m. Monday to find heavy smoke coming from the roof of one of the buildings. Flames driven by the wind soon spread to the entire structure.
Efforts to fight the fire were hampered by weather conditions that prevented firefighters from getting close to the building. Neighbors were asked to shelter in place due to soot in the air.
No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
