The American Red Cross of Wisconsin is currently supporting communities in northeast Wisconsin following severe weather by opening two shelters for residents in need.
Shelter locations:
- The Washington Center
600 W. Washington St., New London - St. John’s United Church of Christ
101 S. Clark St., Black Creek
Eight residents stayed in the shelters overnight, and both locations remain open today. They are providing meals, water, emotional support, and access to phone charging. Red Cross shelters are open to anyone who needs a safe place—you do not need to be a Red Cross client.
Anyone impacted by the storms can call 1-800-RED CROSS for immediate assistance. We’ll continue to share updates as more information becomes available.
We’re also grateful for the many people asking how they can help their neighbors during this difficult time. At the Red Cross, we know generosity runs deep—especially after disasters. Right now, financial donations are the fastest and most effective way to help, as they allow us to respond immediately and provide support where it’s needed most.
