Have you ever seen a movie for your first time and felt like you’ve seen it a dozen times before?
When you watch movies like I do, this happens all the time.
I had already seen the movie “Obsession” when I saw the movie “Wishmaster” (1-4 lol).
I had already seen this movie when it was called “Monkey’s Paw”
I had already seen this movie when it was a video game called “Twisted Metal”
My point is, this movie won’t win any points for plot originality… but I absolutely loved it.
Both leads exhibit some of the best physical acting performances I have seen in some time.
It has shocking moments, it has funny moments, and it will definitely leave an impact.
Is hiring Youtubers to direct movies the way of the future? Probably not, but this one definitely leaves a template for others to follow.
