Two killed in head on crash in Fond du Lac County

TOWN OF LAMARTINE, WI — Two people die in a two vehicle head on crash in Fond du Lac County. The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 23 and Heinrich Road in the Town of Lamartine. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says when emergency crews arrived both drivers had already died. Witnesses tell investigators an eastbound vehicle crossed the centerline into the path of a westbound vehicle. The driver of the eastbound vehicle is only identified as a 19-year-old Rosendale woman. The driver of the westbound vehicle is only identified as a 64-year-old Ripon man. There were no passengers in either vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
