TOWN OF CHESTER, Wis. — A woman is dead — three other people are seriously injured — in a Dodge County crash.
The victims were riding in a car that struck a semi stopped on the shoulder of Highway 151 around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
A 38-year-old Fall River woman riding in the front passenger seat was pronounced dead at the scene. The 59-year-old Fall River man driving the car was airlifted to UW Madison Hospital with life-threatening injuries, as was a 14-year-old girl who was thrown from the vehicle. A 9-year-old girl suffered minor injuries and was treated at Waupun Memorial Hospital. The driver of the semi was not hurt.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
