The whole theme of this program is to try and find a way to highlight the similarities we all share with one another, as opposed to focusing on the differences. I acknowledge, some days this can be easier than others.
It’s one thing to speculate or theorize, but it’s another thing entirely to put it into practice out in the field.
I was joined earlier today by Ben Murray, Navy veteran and former Democratic candidate for the 36th District of the Wisconsin State Assembly, to learn about his experience running in a deep red district.
Despite not winning the campaign, several lessons were learned by the experience, and he took some time to share some of those lessons with me.
