APPLETON, Wis–The main post office in Appleton is now named in honor of a fallen firefighter. The plaque marking the Mitchell F Lundgaard Post Office was unveiled this (Wednesday) morning.
Lundgaard was shot and killed by a man he had just helped to revive from a drug overdose at the downtown Appleton transit center in 2019.
