WINNECONNE, Wis. — The Winneconne Police Department releases the name of a road rage shooting suspect.
Donald Lucero of Winneconne allegedly shot another man in the head at Lake Winneconne Park Wednesday afternoon following a reported traffic incident. Lucero then left the scene.
Later that day, Winneconne police asked West Bend police to conduct a check on an address in that city where Lucero may be. That led to a pursuit that ended in a crash. Lucero was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting victim remains in the hospital.
