GRAND CHUTE, Wis–Grand Chute Police make an arrest in connection with an alleged kidnapping.
A woman says a man threatened her with a knife in a parking lot in the 43-hundred block of West Wisconsin Avenue around 7:30 Monday night. The suspect then forced the woman to drive him and her four-year old-child to a number of banks to withdraw money.
They were able to escape the vehicle in Neenah and contact police. Both the woman and child were treated for minor injuries.
The 51-year old suspect was arrested later in the night. Criminal charges are pending.
