March is here…and I’m fired up. Allow me to list a few reasons why:
March Madness needs little explanation. I love the college conference tournament games which set the table for the most-anticipated bracket announcement on the planet. Once finished, the brackets are filled out, games begin and hearts are often broken. Better luck next year.
Golf courses have been opening up all over the joint, giving us all a chance to scrape off the rust and attempt to achieve a personal best this season. Again, better luck next year.
Yards are beginning to grow, giving us all a chance to green our thumbs and change the landscaping you put in place last year and maybe the year before. Hmm, better luck next year.
And finally, we are one month closer to summer, the best season of them all. Followed closely by autumn in second place, miles ahead of election season, which is the least anticipated season of them all.
At least on that one we can’t say better luck next year.
