I did not expect to like this movie. Not even a little bit, honestly. I was excited to finally give a scathing review of a movie on this podcast for my first time.
That’s not what you’re getting here. I saw “Roses”, the retelling of the classic comedy “War of the Roses”, and it hit my funny bone in all the right places.

There were times when the dark comedy felt like it maybe only applied to our style of humor, but the film packs a punch.
