In its first year as part of a decade-old national effort, the City of Appleton will kick-off the Dignity & Respect Campaign on Tuesday, Jan 16 at 6:30PM in the Warch Campus Center Cinema at Lawrence University. This free event is open to the public.
The timing of this kick-off event, coming the day after the Dr Martin Luther King Jr holiday, intends to extend Dr King’s teachings of service and acceptance throughout the year. The program will include leaders from local organizations signing a pledge, and helpful tips for everyone to be more aware of how they treat others.
